Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to share a few thoughts with you as to why I know the next President of the United States will be Hillary Clinton. This country is in a very difficult position. We are in a time of war on several fronts. We need a president that is aware of the current foreign policy situation all over the world. A key moment to see the difference between who is able to beat John McCain is in the Cleveland Democratic Debate:

1) MR. RUSSERT: Senator Obama, I want you to respond to not holding oversight for your subcommittee. But also, do you reserve a right as American president to go back into Iraq, once you have withdrawn, with sizable troops in order to quell any kind of insurrection or civil war?

SEN. OBAMA: Well, first of all, I became chairman of this committee at the beginning of this campaign, at the beginning of 2007. So it is true that we haven't had oversight hearings on Afghanistan.

I have been very clear in talking to the American people about what I would do with respect to Afghanistan.

I think we have to have more troops there to bolster the NATO effort. I think we have to show that we are not maintaining permanent bases in Iraq because Secretary Gates, our current Defense secretary, indicated that we are getting resistance from our allies to put more troops into Afghanistan because they continue to believe that we made a blunder in Iraq and I think even this administration acknowledges now that they are hampered now in doing what we need to do in Afghanistan in part because of what's happened in Iraq.

Now, I always reserve the right for the president -- as commander in chief, I will always reserve the right to make sure that we are looking out for American interests.
And IF al Qaeda is forming a base in Iraq, then we will have to act in a way that secures the American homeland and our interests abroad. So that is true, I think, not just in Iraq, but that's true in other places. That's part of my argument with respect to Pakistan.

The fact that al Qaeda is in Iraq shows that he is not fully aware of the situation in Iraq. McCain will slaughter Obama on this issue. John McCain will not hold back on this issue. There is still a large Republican Base and such uninformed remarks by Obama really show his inexperience.

2) Hillary has carried all of the BIG MUST WIN STATES, both blue and swing, for a Democrat to win the presidency in November. If you give Hillary and Obama the electoral count for the blue and swing states the outcome is clear. Just take a look at the electoral numbers: Hillary Clinton - 233 Barack Obama - 118
Especially with the Obama/Canadian NAFTA meeting, Ohio could not be won by Obama.

3) In recent polls by Time magazine, asks who voters favor as the Democratic Nominee:
Hillary Clinton 48% Barack Obama 42%

4) Obama's reason for thinking he will beat McCain is because he didn't vote for the war in Iraq. Sadly, if you remember the national approval of the war in Iraq at the time:
March 2003 ABC News/ Washington Post National Poll:
Question:
"Would you support or oppose the United States going to war with Iraq? Would you support/oppose it strongly or only somewhat?"
Strongly Approve - 54%
Somewhat Approve - 16%
Oppose Strongly - 19%
Oppose Somewhat - 8%
As you can see the country was strongly in support of going to war with Iraq in 2003. This will NOT be an issue with McCain. He voted for the war as well and therefore has no argument as to Hillary's vote. Therefore Hillary and Obama will both receive similar attacks from McCain over withdrawal. However, Obama has already showed his lack of knowledge and inexperience. Therefore, Hillary will be able to take on the issue much more effectively.
5)
Obama has a great ability to inspire the American people and I think this should not be written off. Thankfully, Hillary has already opened up the issue of sharing a ticket with Obama. However, Obama has said many times, "Why would I need Hillary on the ticket ?" It is obvious that the democratic voters are splitting over this Primary Contest. Hillary is showing that she sees the best way to unite the party by offering a shared ticket. McCain would NOT have a chance against a Clinton - Obama ticket. And what a great way to give Obama the experience that he needs for the future. The chances of a Clinton - Obama administration lasting for 2 terms is extremely likely. AND! The Democratic Party would have the best candidate for the next 2 terms with Obama as President.
6)
I would like to bring up one further note. I feel that caucuses disenfranchise many potential voters from having a say in who they think should be their party nominee. Many people can not make the restrictive times of caucuses because of medical problems, childcare, and most often work. Since the President of the United States is not chosen from caucus methods, I believe this should also be taken into perspective. Many, who will vote in the Presidential Election, were not able to have a say about who their nominee will be. The best way to view this presidential nomination contest results is a tie. And that is why you, the super delegates exist. We, the American People, rely on you to make the choice as to who is best to take back this country and this White House.

Take a look at this...

"Five individuals connected to five different campaigns have confirmed -- but only under condition of anonymity -- that the situation that developed in connection with the Michigan ballot is not at all as it appears on the surface. The campaign for Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, arguably fearing a poor showing in Michigan, reached out to the others with a desire of leaving New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton as the only candidate on the ballot. The hope was that such a move would provide one more political obstacle for the Clinton campaign to overcome in Iowa."

How can someone who claims to be for the people not want them to have a fair election???
